A look back at a decade of war in Syria

Over the last 10 years, as Syria fell deeper into the abyss, the country has burned and President Bashar al-Assad has clung to power. An uprising that started peacefully has left as many as half a million dead by some estimates. CNN's Ben Wedeman looks back on a tragic decade.
